This table show the compatibility of some Windows software and VMware ThinApp
(all these ThinApped programs were captured on Windows XP)

MagicISO 5.5 yes ocasional crashes, but seems to work
Media Player Classic 6.4.9.0 yes no problems detected! :)

MPlayer (MPUI) 1.2 yes no problems detected! :)
OpenOffice.org 2.4.1 yes the entire suite seems to work fine
Opera web brower 9.5 yes the mail component gives and error and is not available, but the rest seems to work
PowerISO 4.2 yes no problems detected! :)
QuickTime Player 7.5 no does not seem to have sound on XP and crashes on Vista
Safari web browser 3.1.2 yes no problems detected! :)
The KMPlayer 2.9.3.1431 yes no problems detected! :)
UltraISO 9.2.0.2536 yes no problems detected! :)
VLC 0.8.6h no won't open
Windows Live Messenger 8.5 yes runs fine on XP, to run it on Vista, the compatibility mode must be set to "Windows XP"
WinImage 8.10.8100 yes no problems detected! :)
WinRAR 3.71 yes no problems detected! :)
XnView 1.93.6 yes no problems detected! :)
